Curbell, Inc. recognizes that environmental responsibility extends beyond a single day. Throughout the month of April, the company celebrates “Earth Month at Curbell,” highlighting its ongoing commitment to sustainability through learning, employee engagement, and environmentally focused initiatives.
During Earth Month, Curbell employees participated in learning opportunities and activities that promote sustainable business practices, including daily “Earth Month Minutes,” which share insights into the steps Curbell is taking on its sustainability journey, along with practical actions employees can take to live more sustainably. Interactive activities such as quizzes and contests give employees opportunities to learn something new while having fun throughout the month.
Curbell employees also participate in hands-on activities that support sustainable practices, including volunteer initiatives and the “Healthy Earth, Healthy You Challenge,” designed to encourage employees to make environmentally conscious choices both at work and at home.
As part of this year’s Earth Month activities, a group of Curbell employees from the Orchard Park, NY, locations volunteered on Earth Day at Buffalo’s historic Delaware Park Rose Garden. Established in 1917, the historic garden has long served as a gathering space for community celebrations and events. Volunteers assisted with weeding and mulching to prepare the garden for the upcoming season and warmer weather.
To recognize employees’ ongoing commitment to sustainability, Curbell also marks Earth Day each year with a token of appreciation. This year, employees received sunglasses made from recycled polycarbonate plastic and bamboo, along with reusable bags made from recycled plastic water bottles.
Through Earth Month and year-round sustainability efforts, Curbell continues to empower employees to make a positive environmental impact while supporting responsible business practices and stronger communities.
